Special Exhibition: Sylvie Perrin “Queenofclay”
Paintings, Urban Collages & Sculptures
From 14 February to 31 March 2026
Venue: ArtZone Gallery — Montrond-les-Bains
The Event
Starting on 14 February, ArtZone Gallery is pleased to welcome Lyon-based artist Sylvie Perrin, also known as Queenofclay, for an exceptional six-week exhibition. Dive into a universe where urban art meets the finesse of ceramics, through a collection of vibrant, uplifting and resolutely contemporary works.
The Art of Metamorphosis: Artistic Approach
Sylvie Perrin brings the city back to life. Using upcycling techniques, she salvages advertising and event posters from the streets of Lyon and transforms them into dynamic collages.
- Urban Memory: Each collage is named after a street or neighbourhood in Lyon, paying tribute to the raw origin of the material.
- Shine & Resin: Her works are enhanced by a glossy layer of resin, creating a striking contrast between the raw street paper and a luxurious finish.
- Back to the Source: Alongside her collages, the artist explores ceramics, a nod to her career as a modelling-clay illustrator, creating a dialogue between volume and surface.
About the Artist
A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, Sylvie Perrin has built an international career between Paris, the Netherlands and New York, where she worked as Art Director for the TV channel BET.
Today, she exhibits her work in prestigious galleries in France and abroad (United States, Netherlands). Signing her pieces Queenofclay, she has established herself as a key figure in contemporary art, blending mixed media techniques with joyful, uplifting emotions.
