Kabé Teyton

Self-taught, I have been painting since a very young age. After taking several courses, I found the technique and style that truly suited me. I paint in oil, using multiple layers of glazes in a hyperrealist style. This allows me to achieve the photographic fineness that has become my signature.

I always work from a photograph as my source of inspiration, which I crop and adjust as I please. The image must trigger an emotion in me—either through its vivid colors, a distinctive light, or an intense gaze. I tend to focus on close-up subjects.

I love sharing my work and engaging with people at exhibitions and art fairs. In 2021, I was honored to receive a Silver Medal awarded by the Société Académique Arts-Sciences-Lettres of Paris for my body of work, and in 2024, I was named Chevalier Académicienne by Mondial Art Academia.
